Recipe #6: Sarah's Chicken Tacos

This recipe came from Sarah and it's a new fav in our house.  It is simple, yummy, and has just the right amount of spice.

Sarah's Chicken Tacos

INGREDIENTS:
4 chicken breasts
4 oz. chopped chilies
1 cup water
1 tsp. chicken bullion
1/2 cup salsa
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 can pinto beans, drained

Serves 6

DIRECTIONS:
Combine ingredients in crock pot.  Cook on low 4-6 hours. Shred chicken in crock pot and serve on tortillas with tomatoes, green onions, and cheese.



TIPS: This would also be great with lettuce and crispy corn chips for a simple slow cooker taco salad.  I've used pinto beans and black beans in this recipe.  Both are equally tasty.
